Miracle recovery sees missing Chelsea player back training outside already

Carney Chukwuemeka was carried off the pitch on August 20th after picking up a knee injury in the game against West Ham.

He was operated on a couple of days later.

Now, just under a month later, he’s already back out on training on grass, according to Nizaar Kinsella of the Evening Standard.

That is quite amazing to us – even if the surgery was the most minor intervention possible, it’s still crazy to think he’s out on the grass already when some players need months to even start work in the gym again after surgery.

It’s good news for injury stricken Chelsea, who need all of their players available as soon as possible. He’s working with Reece James, who is expected back even sooner.

The pair, along with fellow absentees Armando Broja and, Noni Madueke, Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella and Benoit Badiashile, could all be back fairly soon, giving fresh life to an increasingly dire season.

  1. Good news ONLY if he gets properly fit !!!!!!!!!! So many times players have been injured, came back, only to go out again for longer. BAD MOVE sacking medical staff who knew their job, and bringing in AMATEURS who knew nothing about English football. One of many COCK –UPS from the Yanks Recent World Club Champs, change to blind new owners, spend 1 Billion, five places off the bottom. does any more need to be said. I am sad for my club.

  2. The chelsea players must pick up their pieces as soon as possible because you are really hurting supporters worldwide.
