Two Chelsea players will not feature until after international break – but one could be back this weekend

Chelsea have taken to releasing their injury list ahead of Mauricio Pochettino’s press conference, but it never stops him being asked for more details.

Both Armando Broja and Benoit Badiashile are described by the club as being in the final stages of their rehabilitation, but when pressed for more details on that in his press conference, Pochettino admitted that they wouldn’t be fit either for tomorrow’s game or for the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest this weekend.

He said that we could expect to see both after the international break however. That’s a little disappointing, given we’ve seen them both in training with the ball for a week or more.

There was a sliver of better news – Mykhailo Mudryk’s minor problem picked up last week looks like it’s cleared up, and we would expect to see him at the very least coming off the bench tomorrow or on Saturday.
