Chelsea face Wimbledon at Stamford Bridge in just under an hour, and the teams are in!
It’s perhaps a stronger team than we might have expected, given the competition and Mauricio Pochettino’s words, but there are certainly some interesting selections in there.
There are a smattering of debuts: Lesley Ugochukwu starts in midfield, replacing Moises Caicedo, Mason Burstow gets his first start up front, while Ian Maatsen and Diego Moreira play in competitive games for us for the first time.
There’s also a first start of the season for Noni Madueke, Bashir Humphreys and Marc Cucurella.
We think we’ve figure the team out – Maatsen and Madueke on the wings flanking Burstow. Moreira in the hole ahead of Ugochukwu and Gallagher in midfield. Cucurella and Axel Disasi at full back with Levi Colwill and Humphreys in the centre.
