Chelsea are yet again on the hunt to sign a new midfielder in the upcoming summer transfer window.
It was a midfielder saga that we were all put through in the January transfer window when Chelsea ended up securing the move to sign Enzo Fernandez on transfer deadline day, but now they are looking for another new top midfielder to partner him in the middle of the park.

We have been hearing some names being floated around, but it looks like it is now between just two main priority targets – Sporting Lisbon’s Manual Ugarte, or Brighton’s Moises Caicedo. There actually isn’t even anything to yet suggest it might not be both players!
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has the latest on this on the CBS Podcast today, with some quotes taken from it below.

As you can see, Chelsea have had fresh contacts from Ugarte just today and continue to be keen on Caicedo!
