Chelsea set to move for player after conducting extensive scouting sessions

Chelsea are reportedly set to make a move to sign a new player this summer after conducting extensive scouting sessions of late.

As we know, Chelsea are looking to make some more top additions in a number of areas on the pitch, particularly in midfield.

Sources: Chelsea strike agreement with new main shirt sponsors!

They have a few players on the radar right now, one of which is Romeo Lavia of relegated Premier League club Southampton. Lavia has been linked with Chelsea a lot lately after they were rumoured to have made an offer to sign him last summer.

With The Saints now going down into the Championship from next season, Lavia should be abailable to any interested clubs.

Football London have a report out today claiming that Chelsea have been conducting extensive scouting sessions for Lavia and he is someone on the club’s radar as for this summer.

Southampton are likely to ask for around £50m for his signature and Chelsea are considering making a move.
