Jamie Redknapp is on punditry duties for Chelsea’s game against Manchester United tonight, and the former Liverpool man has been talking about the impending appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as a new coach of the Blues.
He warned fans that it’s not going to be easy, and that it’s not going to be a “quick fix.”
He’s absolutely right, it’s not going to be easy for Pochettino, and we’re not expecting a title charge anytime soon.
On the other hand, things have been so bad this season that even if he only gets us back to a mediocre team, it will be a big success, really. And that could be quite easily achieved.
