Todd Boehly is preparing a new improved offer to buy another club

Todd Boehly is preparing a new improved offer to buy 75% stake at Portuguese club Portimonense after seeing his initial offer of €40m turned down.

This is according to Record as cited by Sport Witness today.

Sources: Mauricio Pochettino asks some of Frank Lampard’s current staff to stay on at the club!

It’s claimed that following the Blues’ move to become shareholders at French side Strasbourg, they now prepare their next move in Portugal’s Liga Bwin.

Chelsea reportedly want to ‘enter deep’ into Portuguese football, and Portimonense is said to be their ‘favourite target’.

It’s recalled that the club previously turned down an attempt from the Blues, who offered €40m for 75%.

Todd Boehly and the Chelsea owners are trying to set up a multi-club model so they can have a place for their top young talents from Chelsea to go and play senior football at. Other clubs such as Manchester City and the Red Bull Groups do this successfully right now and Boehly wants to follow in their footsteps.
