Club’s asking price for player “is considered too high” by Chelsea

Chelsea may need to look elsewhere for one reported transfer target this summer, due to the club’s asking price being considered too high right now.

They may also look to try and negotiate that fee down, but it also doesn’t look like Chelsea have even made a clear decision on which target they want in that area as of now.

Sources: Chelsea make decision on replacing Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount this summer!

Chelsea have been linked with a few potential new goalkeepers to come in this summer due to the question marks over the futures of both first team goalkeepers Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy.

Inter Milan’s Andre Onana seems to be a genuine option, with many outlets linking Chelsea with a move.

However, according to a report today, Chelsea view his current asking price as being too much for them right now, at least that is what journalist Rudy Galetti has told GIVEMESPORT.

Galetti said:”Onana could leave Inter in the summer if a suitable offer arrives. Chelsea are seriously interested in the Cameroonian goalkeeper. However, the current price at the request of the Italian club is €50 million (£45 million) and is considered too high by the Blues.”

It is a bit high considering Chelsea will be looking to spend big again in other areas as well.
