Defending is a team game, and you can identify 5 small errors which allowed Everton to equalise against Chelsea at the weekend.
Firstly there’s the sloppy way Chelsea give the ball away from a bad goal kick.
Secondly Abdoulaye Doucoure is left in far too much space behind the Chelsea midfield and is able to play in Ellis Simms with a first time ball.
Thirdly there’s the way Kalidou Koulibaly is sucked in and turned so easily by Simms.
Fourthly there’s Benoit Badiashile’s hesitance when he could come across once KK is beaten.
Finally there’s Kepa’s weak attempt to save the shot.
