Now that the dust has settled it’s interesting to take a bit of a deeper look at Chelsea’s crazy January window, and that’s exactly what Tifo have done.
They explain the “loopholes” that have theoretically allowed us to spend so much, and the strategy behind the spending.
We don’t want to celebrate too much – such was the spending and the contracts handed out that it could be a long time before we really know whether this was all a good idea or not – but it’s interesting to see the plan explained clearly.
