Cesare Casadei’s loan to Reading hasn’t been too notable so far – but on a quiet Wednesday night he’s just scored his first senior goal.
Driving inside, the midfielder lashed in a near post effort that beat the struggling goalkeeper.
After a long time on the bench, Paul Ince has been gradually integrating young Casadei into his first team, and hopefully this effort guarantees him more chances.
It’s leveled things up for struggling Reading, who desperately need to score another and win this – oh, hang on, Blackburn are now 2-1 up.
