Romelu Lukaku could get Inter start after hattrick promises strong final run

Romelu Lukaku’s return to Inter Milan on loan has been a damp squib so far.

The Chelsea striker spent the first half of the season struggling for fitness, and after a poor World Cup has not been able to start consistently for his team. Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko are two good options, and have limited his chances.

But things might be starting to turn a corner. Sempre Inter report that Lukaku is likely to start this weekend for the Nerrazurri, after scoring a hattrick for Belgium against Sweden on Friday night.

There isn’t much of the season left now, and not a huge amount for Inter to play for, but Lukaku will be determined to use the remaining games to prove his worth to the and to Chelsea, who will soon have him back on their and be forced to make some tough decisions.

He can make a great start this weekend, if he gets a precious start.
