Reece James trains after rest as road to recovery continues

Chelsea were able to scrape past Leeds with a 1-0 win at the weekend, and one would imagine things would have been a lot more comfortable had star man Reece James played.

He felt a hamstring tightness and was rested, with the club continuing their policy of slowly easing him back from injury.

He’s training today and clearly feeling good however, and it looks certain that Graham Potter throws him into the mix against Borussia Dortmund tomorrow as we look to turn our tie against them around after a first leg defeat. If anyone can do that, James can.

The problem is Ben Chilwell. He played at the weekend and looked good, but after so long out and so many injuries we’d imagine he can only play one of the two games this week.

Will Potter line up with both his first choice wing backs tomorrow and prioritise the Champions League? Or use one in each game?
