Graham Potter names the Chelsea player he thinks ‘the world of’

Chelsea boss Graham Potter has named one Chelsea player who he thinks the world of.

As we know, Potter has a very large squad at his disposal after a busy couple of transfer windows at the club under new ambitious owners.

But a large squad can also create problems, with the most obvious one being many players being unable to play as much as they would want to be playing.

One of those will be midfielder Conor Gallagher, who is having to make do with appearances off the bench in recent games, often being labelled a ‘super-sub’ by some.

This wont be enough for the England international though, and Potter has admitted that he knows Gallagher will be frustrated with the situation, but also ensures he knows how valued he is amongst Potter and his coaching staff at the club.

In quotes picked up by The Daily Mail this weekend, Potter said: “Conor has been really unlucky because whenever he comes on, he does really well. He’ll be frustrated, and rightly so. But we think the world of him, and he’s a fantastic team player.”
