As a player he certainly fits the bill – a dominant, prolific striker who can lead the line and score goals, and at just 24 he’s got room to grow too.
The problem is more the price tag, given our insane spending this year and our struggles (so far) to find buyers for our unwanted first team stars. We will face intense competition to sign him, and with no Champions League football next season, will struggle to compete with some of the other offers on the table for him.
