Chelsea target’s impressive long passing stats would make him an asset

Chelsea have been linked with quite a few potential new signings for the summer, even though they have spent big in the last two transfer windows.

They clearly still need and want to improve in other positions moving forward, one of which will be in the midfield.

Sources: The Chelsea striker back story involving Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, and Romelu Lukaku!

They have been linked with former Manchester City midfielder Romeo Lavia, who is of course now plying his trade at Southampton, and he is doing very well there.

Lavia is still very young, but he is already showing that he has a lot about his game, and judging by the stats below, he has one very strong asset that will get better and better still over time.

His progressive passing stats are very good. Lavia’s long passes from his own half to the opposition half in the Premier League this season have been successful.

He also ranks 15th of those players to attempt 50+ long passes from their own half to the opposition half in the Premier League this season.
