Chelsea ready to sell first team regular to fund more refreshment

Chelsea are considering selling Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer as part of their squad revamp, Football Insider reported in an exclusive last night.

They claim that despite his recent run in the first team, the Spaniard is acknowledged to be a weakness in the squad, and will be replaced in the summer if a buyer can be found.

Gabriel Slonina is clearly being groomed as a long term number one, but he’s still just a teenager, and it could be years before he’s ready for the top, so another new face will be needed.

We were all reminded last weekend that Kepa can’t be trusted long – after a good run of form in which he saved us some points, he then cost us two when he lets Ellis Simms’ shot slide under him in the last minute.

So if we can parlay his good form into a decent fee this summer, so much the better.

  1. I am so disappointed about the person who has no good vision to see but wake up and start speaking I’ll about the innocent goal keeper (Arrizabalaga). I see no fault in Kepa. I don’t know why some people will see the truth yet hided it just to cover up the mess and woes of their own person. Mr poster we Chelsea fans are very very upset with whatever that is happening now. Potter is the problem of Chelsea and stop discussing Kepa to be sold. Have u forgotten so soon how he suffered for Chelsea? U better go and speak against that armature adult called Potter to be sacked. Chelsea is never his mate.
