Chelsea-linked manager taking new job in England immediately ‘is not an option’

As is the nature of the beast in this industry, Chelsea are starting to be heavily linked with a potential new manager.

Of course, Graham Potter still has the reigns and the pressure has very much been eased on him after winning three of his last four games and going inbeaten in them all. But as we know, football is a results-based business and if the results don’t come, the pressure will be back.

Sources: Chelsea managerial situation explained – Julian Nagelsmann and Graham Potter!

Chelsea are reportedly monitoring Julian Nagelsmann now he has been sacked by Bayern Munich, according to The Daily Mail as well as others.

But it looks like Chelsea, or any other English club, would need to wait until the summer at least to tempt Nagelsmann, if they are even planning to.

According to BILD, as cited below, taking over a new job in England immediately is not an option for Nagelsmann. The coach still wants to come to terms with the ‘painful’ dismissal from Bayern and let it sink in.
