There are many situations that could potentially happen at Chelsea this summer, but we know that clearing out of many of the current players will also be one of the priorities.
But as well as this, the owners will still be looking to invest in the squad and bring new signings in through the door, but perhaps just not as crazy as we have seen across the last two transfer windows.
As well as making a few more signings, they will also be needing to make a decision on Joao Felix and whether they want to sign him on a permanent deal or not.
Insider Ben Jacobs believes that Chelsea want to sign Felix this summer on a permanent deal, writing in his exclusive and extensive Chelsea column for Si & Dan Talk Chelsea this week.
🚨 EXCL: Ben Jacobs Chelsea column!
– Rice remains priority
– Lavia fee revealed
– Nagelsmann to tempt CFC?

But as well as Felix, another priority will be signing a new striker.
“Joao Felix also got a goal in Portugal’s 6-0 thrashing of Luxembourg,” Jacobs said whilst reviewing the international break.
“It was a quality header and will only boost his confidence further. Chelsea ideally want to make his move permanent as well as add a more traditional No.9.”
