Chelsea have already started building a new team of recruitment experts at the club under the new ownership, but they are still continuing to be linked with some big names.
It seems like there is still room for more top sporting directors to arrive at the club as part of the big rebuild, and one name being linked this week is former Bayern Munich director Tim Steidten, who is free to join a new club after leaving the Bundesliga side recently.
Sources: The Chelsea striker back story involving Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, and Romelu Lukaku!
Steidten has been linked with Monaco, potentially taking over from Paul Mitchell who is doing a similar role there but is set to leave. Ironically, Chelsea have also been previously linked to Mitchell.
But according to a report from Foot Mercato journalist Seb Denis, as seen below, Chelsea ‘hold the line’ for Steidten, suggesting they are keen to get him in.
As you can also see from below, Steidten is credited with finding some huge talents already.
