Chelsea flop linked with Real Madrid – but Blues have a tough call

Kai Havertz has been linked with an exit from Chelsea for some time now, but we rarely get concrete links to specific teams – until today.

Fichajes in Spain are reporting that Real Madrid are one of the teams who would consider a move for the German this summer, with Carlo Ancelotti apparently a fan of the languid attacker.

It’s an interesting situation, if the interest is indeed real.

On the one hand, if we can get Madrid to pay decent money for him it would be quite the coup, and a relief to have a player who has never really been able to find his position or his form consistently off the books.

On the other hand, Madrid are such savvy operators that we can’t see them paying too much – and the worst part is that Havertz would inevitably end up looking fantastic in La Liga, we can just imagine it now.
