Chelsea at full power against Everton as Potter looks to capitalise on international break

Reece James and Joao Felix are both going to start against Everton this afternoon, meaning Chelsea are able to play Graham Potter’s first XI, to all intends and purposes.

Potter hasn’t had the chance to use N’Golo Kante yet – although the Frenchman is in the squad today for the first time since he took over – so from the players available, this is going to be the coach’s first choice team.

We were able to beat Leicester without James because Ben Chilwell played so well – if both are starting today we could wreak havoc against relegation battling Everton.

With an international break to follow this game, hopefully meaning a less intense fortnight compared to two game a week club action, this is a perfect chance for the Chelsea manager to play his strongest team and try to continue his good run with an impressive win.

Of course, things are never that simple…
