Chelsea have not had a great crop of loans this year, but one that has gone well for the player and the club he’s joined has been Xavier Simons’ move to Hull.
After not playing much in the first half of the season Simons is getting more and more time on the pitch under Liam Rosenior, and we’re now hearing from sources like Nathan Gissing that the Tigers are keen to sign the midfielder permanently – and the deal will be completed soon.
Chelsea do have a sell on fee included, so if Simons continues to develop we will still get extra cash for him down the line.
