Three Chelsea players have been nominated for the Premier League’s 2023 class in the “hall of fame” established a couple of years ago.
Petr Cech, Ashley Cole and John Terry are in a group of 15 hoping to be called up this year – all of them could reasonably say they deserve to be in already.
All won multiple Premier League trophies with the Blues, and each were the top player in their position in the league for some time. Already bona fide Chelsea legends, they now look to establish themselves in the tier above that.

Oh, and if you were wondering where Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard are – they’re already in. There will be plenty more Blues to come, we reckon.
