Todd Boehly splashes the cash on new player’s lounge

Todd Boehly is splashing the cash on a new players lounge for the Chelsea FC players to use at Cobham, reports Andy Dillon from The Sun.

Boehly has also hired decorative individuals to post motivational phrases on the walls.

The work secretly started during the World Cup, the report states. Graham Potter is working on this project with Todd Boehly and it is thought that Chelsea’s manager would like to make the players feel more happy and at home around the training ground.

Currently the players hang around the medical centre before training and have nowhere to go and chill.

The new lounge could include video games and other things. The report has been met with mixed reception, some fans feel like it is a good idea to have a lounge for players to mix and get to know eachother better following the influx of new signings but others feel like the players are already too comfortable and shouldn’t be able to get this luxury until they start winning games again.
