Three players top coach demands to take over at Chelsea

Luis Enrique is out of a job having left Spain following the World Cup, and he’s constantly being linked with top teams – including Chelsea.

Fichajes are happily ignoring the fact that Chelsea already have a manager, and the fact that the club have just spent more than £250m on players, and they’ve written up a list of 3 players who Luis Enrique is apparently demanding if he’s to take over at Stamford Bridge.

First up is a goal keeper – Robert Sanchez of Brighton. We can see why that’s an obvious area to upgrade, and we’re pretty sure the club will make a move for someone in the summer regardless of who is in charge.

Also mentioned is Aymeric Laporte. Somewhat eclipsed by Ruben Dias a

The final suggestion is Ferran Torres. a player who Luis Enrique knows well both professionally and personally. He’s got talent, but unless we sell 3 or 4 attackers this summer, we can’t see any new ones coming in unless there are major departures too.

  1. Chelsea actually need a good coach before now, but in all the end shall tell, for me? I know too well that Chelsea will bounce back only when they have a new coach period.

  2. This is exactly why changing managers half-way into a rebuild would be the height of stupidity! We’ve seen this movie before and it doesn’t end well.
