Kai Havertz leads Chelsea in open play chances created in the Premier League this season with 20.
Kai came on against Southampton and created two huge chances for Raheem Sterling, who was unlucky on both occasions not to score.
Doubters of Kai Havertz might have to take a step back or cool down the criticism a little bit. Chelsea have struggled to create chances all season and although Kai has not created or scored to a consistent level, he is still creating more than any other Chelsea player.
Havertz will be hoping to get a start on Sunday against Spurs after being rested against Southampton. January signing David Datro Fofana started but looked raw and lacked the same pressing ability as Kai.
It feels like a game where Graham Potter MUST win and having Kai leading the line should benefit those chances, should he play like he did against Southampton.
