Joao Felix has conducted another interview about Chelsea and Atletico Madrid, this time with Eleven Portugal.
Felix has let it known how much more free he is feeling on the pitch since joining Chelsea. He felt that at Atletico Madrid, he was limited somewhat with the system and style of Diego Simeone.
It was also very clear to see when you watched Atletico Madrid, Felix had those moments of magic but they didn’t come anywhere near as often as they have at Chelsea, he did not have the responsibility and the freedom to drift, pick up the ball and start attacks, he often looked very isolated.
Felix told Eleven Portugal that results need to improve at Chelsea and then it is perfect: “I’m feeling good here, it’s just getting results and then it’s perfect”.
Joao made a comment on how even after three years in Spain, he never received a chant from the Atletico fans but at Chelsea, he had one after just one match. Clearly he is enjoying London and the fan support and we just need to see him gather a run of games where he really shows us the unbelievable talent that he has at his disposal.
