Former Chelsea player Willian reveals his family still support the Blues

Willian, who spent seven years at Chelsea and won numerous trophies with the club including two premier league titles, revealed in an interview with Tom Roddy from The Times that his family still supports Chelsea.

The Brazilian winger scored against Chelsea in a 2-1 victory for Fulham last time out just a few weeks ago however this time round Chelsea have some new star additions that are likely to start their first ever Chelsea, those are Mykhailo Mudryk, Enzo Fernandez and Noni Madueke.

He spoke at length with Tom Roddy about London, Fulham, and of course his former club Chelsea. When asked about his family and their loyalties, Willian said: “My family, my daughters, they love Chelsea so before the game, I asked: who are you going to support tomorrow? they said, ‘Chelsea!’ I said, ‘No, but Daddy plays for Fulham now’. They said, ‘We know, Daddy, you can play good, you can score but we are supporting Chelsea”

Clearly, the Blues capitulated their family’s hearts over the years, It would be nice if Willian would let us off and score a cheeky own goal tonight but as we saw last time out, Willian will be doing his best to make sure Fulham get a positive result.
