Enzo Fernandez’s first quotes upon arriving at Chelsea are out, and it’s the usual platitudes you’d expect from anyone in that position.
He’s happy to be here, he will give everything for the club, he’s pleased with the opportunity, you know the drill.
But when he was asked specifically about what he could bring to the team, the answer he gave will certainly have a lot of fans very happy.

As well as talking up his technical skill and reading of the game, Enzo pointed to his “good shooting skills.”
That’s something this team have been crying out for for many years now. Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho and N’Golo Kante are all brilliant midfielders, but none of them are good at shooting from distance, and it’s been a real weakness in this team.
Enzo doesn’t have to score a screamer every week, just provide a ranged threat when we’re struggling to break teams down.
