Chelsea set for summer overhaul with 8 potential first teamers out

With all these new signings Chelsea have made in the summer and again in January, there is going to be some balancing of the books needed very soon.

Chelsea only really offed one first team player in January, with midfielder Jorginho joining arsenal on a permanent deal. So they will certainly be needing to offload more players in the summer to reduce the size of the squad as well as balance the books for FFP purposes.

According to sources at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, there are eight first team players with questions marks over their heads this summer.

Amongst those mentioned included Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who both have contracts running out in 2024, Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah, who will want to be a regular starters, summer signing Kalidou Koulibaly who has struggled to settle in London, and current club captain Cesar Azpilicueta, who is attracting interest already.
