Reece James started tonight’s game against Fulham, the right back’s first game since his attempted return to action back in the Autumn.

Fill in Marc Cucurella has largely disappointed in his starts since Chilwell’s injury, and it will be a big boost to the team to have the England star back fit and firing again.
It was Chilwell’s first appearance since November, when he picked up a bad injury to follow on the back of knee problems which ended his season last ar around a similar time.
We hoped before this fortnight without a game that it could be a real turning point for a squad which had been shredded by injuries all year. It certainly looks like that’s the case, and when you combine that with the new signings that arrived in that time, it’s an exciting moment.
