Tiemoue Bakayoko move to Turkey hits the rocks at the last moment

Tiemoue Bakayoko is as close as he’s ever been to securing a move away from Chelsea, but after a few really positive steps it seems there’s been a breakdown.

He’s on loan at AC Milan from Chelsea, and the Italian club really don’t want him. Chelsea don’t mind where he plays – as long as he’s off their books.

So in recent days both teams have worked together to find someone to take him, and they’ve settled on Adana Demirspor in Turkey. Things seemed to be going well, and we expected progress in the next few days, but now things don’t look so rosy.

Gianluca di Marzio reports that Bakayoko is not happy with their wage offer, and has turned them down – for now.

Let’s hope a solution to this long term problem can be found soon. For us, for Milan and for Bakayoko, he needs to go somewhere.
