It’s no secret that Chelsea are on the search for a new midfielder this window and for the summer, and they might even look to bring in at least two new midfielders across the next two windows.
It’s been clear that they have been, and are still trying, to sign Enzo Fernandez from Benfica this month. But they also have other options on the shortlist, and one new name has popped up, according to sources at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea.
The report says that Chelsea are now keeping tabs on Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes for a move either this month, or more likely, for the summer.
“Chelsea are still trying to sign a new midfielder this window.
They are looking to add another one or two centre midfielders in the summer, depending on circumstances.”

Of course, Liverpool have been heavily linked with the Portuguese international, and they look like the favourites as of now. But they will be keeping their eyes over their shoulders now as Chelsea weigh up a potential pursuit.
