There’s been some late transfer window drama today involving Chelsea, naturally.
The Blues have been the busiest club in this window so far and they are expected to be just as busy going into the final five days. This will mean that they will be fully involved in any late transfer dramas and sagas that might come up as they attempt to get one or two new players through the door.
Sources: Chelsea consider two new midfielders for late move this window!
One area they are looking to sign in is the right back area, with Lyon’s Malo Gusto being heavily pursued. Chelsea had an original proposal turned down but are expected to put an improved offer in after that.
However, their president has today claimed that Gusto will be staying until the summer. But apparently he says these things a lot and then still sell the player.
Olympique Lyon president Aulas: “I can confirm that Malo Gusto will stay here at least until the end of the season”. 🔵 #CFC

Lyon though, seem to be working on a replacement in the shape of Djed Spence, so this may well free up Gusto to Chelsea….
Confirmation de mon côté que Djed Spence est une piste très très sérieuse étudiée par l'OL. Là encore, c'est un dossier qui s'annonce très compliquée à boucler. https://t.co/6teIPDi6lu
