Kai Havertz has been given plenty of time to settle in at Chelsea, and there are plenty of people who now think it will never happen.
He’s never quite managed to find a position, let alone find a consistent run of form in the team, so it’s no surprise that as the new attacking signings stack up, he’s pushed towards the exit.
We heard rumours about interest from Bayern Munich in bringing the former Bayer Leverkusen man back to the Bundesliga, but those rumours have now been largely dismissed by the well sourced Ben Jacobs.
Told there's nothing much in links between Kai Havertz and Bayern. Bayern always exploring the market, but Chelsea hoping Havertz can find real form in the second half of the season and beyond. They also know a 2023 sale will probably be at a big loss. pic.twitter.com/A4eghMP8Z0

He said there was “nothing much” in the links between Havertz and the German club. That doesn’t surprise us – they’re in no rush to buy him, and his price will only fall as our need to sell increases.
What we can be sure is that if we do put Havertz up for sale, Bayern are likely to be one of the teams interested, and one of the few capable of affording him.
