Chelsea have agreed a fee around 12 million pounds to sell Jorginho to London rivals Arsenal, reports David Ornstein.
Jorginho has been given permission to travel to Arsenal to complete a medical. This move is a complete shock however it is thought that Chelsea’s owners were always willing to consider offers knowing that the player was likely to leave on a free in just six months time.
Chelsea are still trying to complete a deal for Enzo Fernandez and some fans have suggested the reason why Jorginho is allowed to leave is because Chelsea have Enzo wrapped up but reports suggest that it is not the case yet.
Deadline day could yet pull up more surprises and eyebrows have to be raised from a sporting perspective on just why Chelsea would be happy to sanction a deal for one of the most important members of their dressing room whilst also having the leadership, mentality and experience to help Arsenal even further.
