Mykhailo Mudryk made his Chelsea debut today, getting 35 impressive minutes against Liverpool.
His very presence changed the flow of the game, and the stats he accumulated were so impressive considering he played just half an hour. Tackles, passes and dribbles – and perhaps most importantly 7 duels won of 10 contested. He’s going to have to get to stuck in if he wants to succeed, and it looks like he is happy to.
When it comes to a player like Mudryk though, it’s not about the stats and the numbers – it’s about what happens when he gets on the ball, and we saw plenty of that too today.
