Last night there was suddenly chatter about a rather unexpected Hakim Ziyech to PSG move, and this morning we expecting things to pick up where they left off.
But in fact the latest update we hear from Sami Mokbel at the Daily Mail is that the move has “hit a snag” and is now looking dicey, with Ziyech keen to “revive” it.

Mokbel points out that the player wants the move, which doesn’t surprise us at all. It was described as a loan with an option to buy, so there could be issues over how much of his wages PSG will pay, or how high the option is set at. The Parisians have all the leverage in this case.
Shifting the Morocco star, even on loan for 6 months, would be another important step in reducing our groaning wage bill, and would hopefully pave the way for a permanent move in the summer too.
