Expensive Chelsea star could leave this summer

Chelsea, as I have said on here before, are looking at many departures for the summer transfer window.

One of those could be Kai Havertz, with Florian Plettenberg from Sky Germany reporting that the decisive months for Kai’s future could be May or June with the German international wanting to play Champions league football next season.

It seems from this report that Chelsea would be at least open to discussing a transfer with other clubs as they have set a price tag of 50 million pounds (60 million euros) with possible bonus payments to be included.

Kai’s future as a starter is set to be up in the air even if he stays with Graham Potter’s preferred formation 4-2-3-1 only allowing one starting space for a attacking midfielder and one striker.

One would imagine that Joao Felix (if signed permanently) or Mason Mount would occupy the starting spots for the number 10 role, whilst Christopher Nkunku would be leading the line following his arrival in the summer from RB Leipzig.
