Everton submit huge bid for Chelsea academy graduate

In an exclusive released just now by Fabrizio Romano, Everton have submitted a 45 million total bid for Chelsea academy graduate Conor Gallagher.

It is thought that Gallagher will only be allowed to leave should Chelsea end up signing Enzo Fernandez however even if they don’t, one might imagine the regret Chelsea would face in the future if they don’t accept this offer.

Everton have an injection of funds after the sale of Anthony Gordon and new manager Sean Dyche will be looking for re-inforcements, it is unclear at this stage if Conor would even want to move to merseyside but Chelsea will surely be tempted to cash in on a player that sits on the bench regularly.

Another point to add would be that the sale of Gallagher should it happen would go down as immediate profit on Chelsea’s books, the club have been waiting for solid offers for players and I believe this is one they can’t turn down.
