Chelsea are currently trying to sign a new midfielder, with a few options being touted.
They have been on the search for a suitable profile since the start of the window in January, and they have even seen offers rejected for both Enzo Fernandez of Benfica, and Moises Caicedo of Brighton.

But will they return for either?
Things are certainly heating up with both, and it would not be a shock if Chelsea moved in with further official offers for either player.
Caicedo though, has been speaking about his future at Brighton, in an article posted today by the club which to me is a clear message of pay our valuation or he stays.
As you can see in quotes posted below by Ben Jacobs, Caicedo says he is just concentrating on Brighton right now, which is as you’d expect a player to say in public under these circumstances.

Brighton don’t want to lose Caicedo mid-season and have already rejected a Chelsea offer. It’s going to take something around £75m+ to stand a chance.
