There are rumours reports coming from the South Coast today all about Moises Caicedo.
The latest news from source like Nizaar Kinsella is that Brighton are holding firm on their decision to not sell him. Arsenal have offered around £70m, but would need to stretch to a club record £80m to have a chance.
As it stands, it doesn’t look like it will happen, and Caicedo will still be a Brighton player on the 1st of February.
Brighton are really firm on their 'not for sale' stance for Moises Caicedo.
An £80million bid would be hard to resist but, for Arsenal, would mean breaking the club's transfer record.
If no deal is agreed, he will be back in the squad from February 1 with no hard feelings. https://t.co/QiGlJO07Ay

Now what’s interesting about that update is that it has precisely no mention of Chelsea. The Blues have gone from leading the pack to not in the chase. What’s happened? We can only conclude that the deal to sign Enzo Fernandez is so close that all our resources have been diverted to Lisbon.
It’s set to be a thrilling end to the window, as we and Arsenal hold out breath for a midfield revolution.
