Chelsea are prepared to compete with Liverpool for the signing of Matheus Nunes, reports Mike McGrath from The Telegraph.
The club are said to be drawing up a list of targets for the summer whilst the chase for a midfielder in the final few days of the window remains active despite news going cold over the last two days on Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.
Graham Potter was not mentioned in the article as specifically being a key individual who likes Nunes but the Wolves man is said to “have admirers” at Stamford Bridge. Moises Caicedo, Declan Rice and Amadou Onana are some other midfielders on Chelsea’s summer list, according to the report.
Despite news going cold over the last two days on midfield, Chelsea are still trying to complete a deal for Malo Gusto with Fabrizio Romano reporting that Lyon are showing interest in former Chelsea defender Tariq Lamptey, who joined Brighton for just 4.5 million pounds in 2020. The news that Lyon are targeting right-backs can only be seen as positive news for Chelsea’s pursuit of Malo Gusto.

Ian Wright comments about Michailo Mudryk are not fair, what he earned at Arsenal by then, he also wanted more, same as Mudryk he deserves it. Arsenal should have paid more as what Chelsea did, then the player would have decided which team would like to play. So please hands off Mudryk please.
