Cesare Casadei is set to go out on loan to the Championship, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano.
The youngster joined Chelsea as one of various talented teenagers in the summer when he arrived from Inter, and after 6 months with the development squad he’s heading to Reading.
There was some debate about whether he would go immediately upon arriving, but he had never played senior football in Italy and it was clearly decided to give him a period to settle in.
Cesare Casadei will leave Chelsea in the next 48h in order to join Reading on loan, deal almost done — final details to be sorted soon. 🚨🔵 #CFC

After getting through that introductory period smoothly, and at times looking too good for the U21 games he was playing in (he scored 4 in 9 from midfield in the league), the green light has clearly been given to finally get him out on loan.
He’s physically ready, he’s 20 years old and talented. Let’s see what he can do in this latter part of the season with Paul Ince’s team.
