Record in Portugal are reporting that Benfica President Rui Costa is no longer attending a celebratory dinner this evening, one in which he would have to travel for.
This could be for any reason but one suspects it is because negotiations are getting hotter between Chelsea and Benfica, perhaps Costa is meeting one of the Chelsea owners also.
It is believed that the only person stopping this deal currently is Costa, so it is very interesting that he has had to change his plans this evening.
We will keep you updated with all the developments and it is expected that a conclusion will be reached later this evening one way or another, one solution could be to loan Enzo back out until the summer however personally I hope this does not happen as Chelsea consistently get injuries in midfield and he would give Graham Potter a massive boost for a top four push.
Please Chelsea should do whatever it take and sign Enzo,we really need him at all cost.
