Chelsea look to be attempting to once again pull off a deal to sign Enzo Fernandez this window, with Record in Portugal even reporting a fresh offer has been put in today.

However, as was what was also in this same report above, TyC Sports (in the tweet below) in Argentina are reporting that Benfica are once again taking the same stance that Enzo is not for sale unless his full release clause is triggered, which of course, they wouldn’t be able to stop anyway.

Chelsea will have to now decide whether they want to go back in with a further offer for Enzo, pay his release clause, wait until the summer, or leave it altogether and go for other targets.
It looks like those who wanted an end to this saga might have to strap themselves in once again, as this isn’t over yet, by any means!
