Arsenal launch bid for Moises Caicedo

In a exclusive released by Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Arsenal have launched a 60 million pound bid in an attempt to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton.

Chelsea had a 55 million pound bid turned down by Brighton last week and it seems that Arsenal want to try and get revenge for the Mudryk transfer.

It’s thought that Brighton would at least want around 75 million pounds to sell Caicedo so it is expected that Arsenal’s bid will get rejected. Chelsea have been working on deals behind the scenes for Malo Gusto and a midfielder, with an approach for Amadou Onana from Everton rejected by both club and player.

Chelsea now have a real competitor in the race to sign Caicedo and it will be very interesting to see how the club reacts to this Arsenal bid as there has been no huge news for a few days now with the window slamming shut on Tuesday night.
