(Video): Hakim Ziyech scores from distance to put Morocco close to knockouts

Hakim Ziyech needed a good World Cup – and boy is he having one.

You couldn’t really find more of a one man team than Morocco. Ziyech has been assisting and creating throughout, and today he added a goal. A mixup from Canada meant he had an open goal from distance, and he look advantage.

A player with that kind of technical ability isn’t going to miss from there – although he did somehow manage to pull off the finish with some classic Ziyech insouciance.

You can see the goal in the clip embedded here:

  1. We’ll done, Ziyech! And good for Chelsea regardless of whether they keep him or sell him.

On the other hand, I just have to ask… Where was Chelsea News’ corresponding coverage of Christian Pulisic’s exploits the other night? You guys are so quick to publish the least little rumor that he’s going/staying, but when it comes to giving the poor guy his due for the stuff that matters (performance on the pitch)—nada. Just in the name of fairness and journalistic integrity, how about some balance? How do you call yourself “Chelsea News” if you don’t treat all Blues with the same level of support and respect?
