Chelsea are one of the many teams who are looking to invest in their midfield and add a couple of top quality players to that position over the next couple of windows.
With the contract situations of both N’Golo Kante and Jorginho, it looks like Chelsea need to invest in the midfield now, and that is exactly what they are looking to do.
Chelsea moving to try and sign Ghana’s World Cup star!
Basically every major club in world football is showing an interest in signing England star Jude Bellingham right now, and Chelsea are one of them.
But it seems like they have a real battle on their hands right now and a bit of an uphill struggle if they want to pull off somewhat of a miracle.
Liverpool are seemingly leading the race right now, but in reality, it stays open. Many Chelsea fans wondered if not getting Champions League football this season could put them out of the race, but insider Ben Jacobs says it’s not a dealbreaker, in his latest extensive thread on the situation below:

Manchester City are Liverpool’s most serious rival for Bellingham currently. Erling Haaland has already told him to join. #MCFC haven’t made their move yet but it’s thought they will enter the race.

But convincing Bellingham to join without #UCL will be down to a trust in the project, hence why Liverpool are in a strong position since they have laid more groundwork than most.

It’s still an open race and Bellingham is expected to follow Haaland’s example and score his suitors to provide a more dispassionate perspective.
